Industry news: Charlie switches agencies; presumably no Ron Livingston for Adaptation 2: Electric Boogaloo

Says Hollywood Reporter:

Oscar winning scribe Charlie Kaufman has left UTA for WME.

The writer, known for writing some of Hollywood's most original screenplays such as Being John Malkovich, Adaptation and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, had been with UTA for 15 years. In 2002, his then-UTA agent Marty Bowen was a character in Adaptation -- the movie about a screenwriter trying to write a screenplay adaptation -- and was played by Ron Livingston.

Kaufman made his directorial debut with Synecdoche, New York and most recently was taking studio assignments, having worked on a polish on Kung Fu Panda 2. (Source)
