Charlie keynote speaker at Don/Gee Nicholl Fellowships presentation
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will be awarding the
20th anniversary Don and Gee Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting, to
six people who coincidentally happen to be screenwriters. Charlie isn't
one of them. He's a screenwriter, mind you, but he's not one
who's getting an award. Instead he's the keynote speaker. I figure
he'll tell the winners to quit while they're ahead and take up
gardening, because screenwriting is nothing but head-banging misery,
loneliness and keynote speeches. GO CHARLIE. More info here.
It's an exclusive little shindig, but let me hear all about it if any
of you manage to gate crash it. And I'm not suggesting you gate crash
it. If you do, for God's sake don't mention my name.
