Here's something to put poop in your pants — the following email from my amigo Christopher:

I was in a bookstore in Cambridge and read an interview between Thurston Moore and Spike Jonze in (I thiiiiink) a magazine called BUST. Kind of a leftist/hipster feminist oriented pop culture magazine from what I could tell. Mr. Jonze said that they're still working on the next movie, that Catherine Keener is helping with it, and that she'll act in it too. He said something about it not being one-hundred percent sure it'll happen, though. The movie itself, I mean.

Whaaaat? For God's sake, Spike, I have a website to run. If this flick doesn't happen, what do I report on for the next two years? BOB SAGET?!?! Pull yourself together, man. Think about the people.

Anyways, the magazine is indeed called BUST, so if you happen to be a feminist or a hipster, how's about grabbing the current issue and hitting your Uncle Mick with any relevant Jonze quotes re: the horror flick? Gloria Steinem would want you to.

One more thing on Bob Saget: don't believe the IMDB when it tells you Charlie and Spike are re-making Manos, evidently a cinematic masterpiece up there with Plan 9 From Outer Space. Actually, don't believe anything the IMDB tells you.
