Jonze, who was and is still mainly known as one of the top directors for music videos, has an immensely original eye, which matches up well with Kaufman's outlandish screenplays (the two also paired up on 2002's Adaptation, and will be joining forces yet again for an upcoming horror film, tentatively titled Brain of a Mind, with Full House alum Bob Saget as the lead).
