Sadie points out that Synecdoche will probably be strutting its stuff at the Chicago International Film Festival (Oct 16-29). As I type this, their schedule isn't on the site, but they should put it up before the end of this month.

A week or so before Chicago, though, Charlie's expected to be in Spain, accepting one of two "Time Machine Awards" (and you thought he only made movies), at the Sitges Film Festival, Catalonia. He will arrive in a Delorean, 50 years early, fluxing his capacitor. Abel Ferrara and John Carpenter will also be getting Time Machine Awards. Thanks to rob for that one.
