Charlie Kaufman, on fashion

So much stuff to post today, oh my lordy.

From the NY Synecdoche premiere on Wednesday night :

First there was the reporter (from a fashion publication) who lobbed this humdinger Kaufman's way: "Tell us what you're wearing!" Befuddled as to why they'd care about his style, his reply was, nobly, "a suit." Then another scribe asked him to "define his personal style." A blank stare was that clown's answer. Down the line, another style-heavy mag asked, "what guides the way you dress?" After meeting the question with a bewildered look, Kaufman decided to meet all this style nonsense head on.

"My style used to be just wearing open flannel shirts over a T-shirt. Then I saw my character in Adaptation [which was based on him], and how that character wore open flannel shirts over T-shirts, and I thought, Oh man. Time to change." (Source)

"A suit." I apologise for employing an interweb abbreviation, but... lmfao.
