This is pretty neat, via Carl Wilson:
I thought i'd mention that at the (International) British Association for American Studies Annual Conference 2009 (16-19 April Nottingham-UK) I will be giving a lecture called:
"Kaufman, Jonze, Gondry, and the 'Indiemercial': From the Mainstream of the Margin to the Margin of the Mainstream."
And at the (International) American Independent Cinema Conference (May 8-9 Liverpool - UK) I will be delivering a lecture called:
"Charlie Kaufman and the Contradictions Raised by 'Hollywood Independent' Authorship."... The first conf has only 6 people talking about film, and the second has less than 50 so it's good to see that we can muscle a bit of Charlie into the proceedings.
And if you mention BCK... well, nothing will happen.
