So, Eternal Sunshine took home nada from the Broadcast Film Critics' Awards. We don't need those guys anyway.

Screen Actors' Guild Award nominations have been announced and Eternal pops up in the shape of Kate Winslet under the Female Actor category.

Meanwhile the Online Film Critics Society gave awards to Michel Gondry (Best Director, duh), Kate Winslet, Charlie "Rock 'n' Roll" Kaufman and our friend Valdis Óskarsdóttir (Best Editing). Thanks to clemato from Kate the Great.

Some random trivia. In an apartment scene with Clementine, Joel's holding an issue of New York magazine. Our pal Seis found the actual issue (June 11, 2001, for those playing at home), which carries the headline "What NY Couples Fight About," and a Clem-like red-haired chick on the cover (also a dark-haired sort-of-Joel-like fella).

Other trivia: the only 3 US presidents who ever had to deal with real or impending impeachment - Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton - all have names that are euphemisms for "penis": Johnson, Dick and Willy.
