Anyway, how was your Christmas? Mine was surprisingly super, thanks for asking. But there's a popped-up pop-up shelter in one of the living rooms here (a bit like a mini-tent), and it refuses to fold up again. It is the Shelter That Will Not Die.

If your aunt or grandmother gave you money for Christmas and you happen to have a Region 1 DVD player, you might want to buy the 2-disc Eternal Sunshine DVD, which comes out later this week. WAHOO. (If you want to be extra nice, you'll buy it from the BCK shop or via the link over on the right, cos we'll get a small percentage of the $$, the better to keep the site running.) Meanwhile, critics continue their gaa-gaa fest over Eternal. Will it never end? The film is showing up in everyone's end-of-year Top 10 lists. Suffice it to say that Eternal has made onto almost everyone's radar, and Charlie's no doubt doing the Dance of Joy with Michel. I would give you my own Top 10 list, but we all know by now that I never see anything.
