No Charlie for Karlovy Vary?

You might remember I reported that Charlie would be present for the Czech Republic premiere of Eternal Sunshine at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, which runs from July 2-10. I've been informed by Ferdinand Clodhopper (our anonymous source at Karlovy Vary) that Charlie's appearance has been cancelled and he also backed out of at least one recent interview with a Czech journalist, citing "important personal troubles." Soooo... Wow, that's no good. I have no idea what's up with that, but a couple of important Czech folks have asked me about it.
