- The Carrey-Winslet chemistry is apparently great.
- Gondry hasn't destroyed the movie.
- The film's opening and ending have been changed. (I don't mind the changes to the beginning, but I'm not too keen on the new ending. Mind you, I haven't seen the film, so maybe it works fine.)
- Less Naomi in the movie than in the original script.
- Chicken Legs, having given the 1st draft a quick look, thinks the film is probably funnier and more tender than it comes across on paper. (Please let there not be too much goofy humour.)
- The special effects and what-not don't look like rubbish.
- The movie, though still complicated, isn't quite as convoluted as in the earlier draft. But a lot of people still find it confusing as hell. WHO NEEDS THEM?!
