If you missed the opportunity to climb inside John Malkovich's head, maybe you would prefer to see the world through the eyes of Shakin' Dave. Dave is a long-time friend of BCK, and as he puts it:
With a team of web designers, I have constructed a wearable webcam from a pair of spy glasses that broadcasts everything I see and hear. I have actually been doing this for more than a year, but until now my range has been limited to my apartment. This week, however, I unveiled a custom-built mobile computing device that lets me broadcast from anywhere. I also carry around a GPS transceiver, so you can see exactly where I am.
Other site features include:
- 69 different backdrops, reflecting the current time of day and weather conditions in New York City, as well as the current lunar phase.
- Color-coded hypertext: red opens windows containing audio and video; yellow leads to pictures and more text; blue opens external sites; and green opens slideshows.
- Plenty of other hidden surprises. (Hint: Click around the home page.)
He makes it sound almost sane, does he not? You might want to check out Dave's other very classy site, too: Our Bodily Functions.
Hope you're all having a cool weekend. If not, maybe you should have Dave's weekend instead.
